Many families in west Phoenix don’t have the funds to purchase a backpack and school supplies for their child’s education. These basic items are fundamental to learning, allowing kids to participate in class and complete their homework. A gift of $25 allows one child living in this l0w-income community to receive one backpack filled with all the school supplies needed for his or her grade level.
