Four Stars for Esperança

As a friend of Esperanca you have probably heard us talk about our record of spending 90 cents of every dollar raised on our programs. We are very proud of that statistic and are happy that it was recognized in an article published in Business section of The Arizona Republic, dated November 16, 2009.
Columnist Rick DeBruhl reminded readers to keep charity in mind this time of year but cautioned readers to do their research on charities and advised them of the online tool, Charity Navigator. He noted that of Arizona based charities, only 30 received Charity Navigator's four star rating, one of them being Esperanca!
This month Esperanca attracted over 300 new donors to our cause, as further confirmation that our mission is not only focused and effective but efficient. Lest we become too proud, be assured that we remain focused on our mission of bringing health and hope to the world's poor. Thank you for your support!
