Our Phoenix office is comprised of seven staff members who each have individual responsibilities, yet work closely together on the project goals and mission of Esperança, Inc.
Raúl Espericueta, MSW, President Raúl Espericueta, MSW has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Esperança for over 11 years. He has a Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University and an extensive 25 year background in non profits, non profit management and education. In his first ten years as Esperança’s President the organization has expanded its programs in five countries, has tripled the endowment and has added several thousand new donors. His primary responsibilities include providing leadership among all employees and volunteers, serving as the primary spokesperson for the organization, and leading collaborative efforts among staff in the program and development function of the organization. |

Kevin Benney, CPA, Finance & Administration Director Kevin Benney, CPA has served as Finance Director of Esperança for the last 5 years. He has over 10 years of experience in finance management within the non-profit sector. He received his Bachelor’s in Accounting and is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Currently, he manages all finance and donor database functions for Esperança. |

Christina Araiza, MPH, Program Director Christina Araiza, MPH serves as Program Director of Esperanca and provides oversight for the agency's current five different public health and development projects. She completed her Masters in Public Health from Loma Linda University and has six years of experience working with both domestic and international community health projects. Christina also coordinates the volunteer surgical program, and the procurement and delivery of donated medical supplies. |

Lori Logan, Development Director Lori Logan joined Esperança again in 2008 as Development Director, having worked for the organization from 2002 to 2005. She graduated from the University of Arizona in Political Science and brings 14 years of experience in marketing and fundraising. She manages the fundraising operations, including special events, individual, foundation and corporate giving. |

Margie Camacho, Office Manager & Development Associate Margie Camacho is the newest member of Esperanca. She serves as Office Manager and Development Associate. Her primary responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the office, developing the newsletter, coordinating board activities, and assisting with presentations for church and mission appeals. She is strongly committed to assisting the poor and oppressed members of our global family and has 22 years of experience working with a variety of organizations that provide assistance to developing countries. |

Aracely Tarango, Administrative Assistant Aracely serves as Administrative Assistant and brings over 20 years of experience in office administration and human resources. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Management. Aracely’s primary responsibilities include processing donations and maintaining the donor database. |

Sarah Estrada, Administrative Assistant Sarah Estrada currently serves as Administrative Assistant to Esperança, and brings over 9 years of experience in customer service and data entry. She is responsible for processing donations, preparing and mailing pledge reminders, and general office duties. She is the first person to greet you at our Phoenix office. |
