Julieta began her time at Esperança as an intern before joining the staff as a Community Health Educator. Julieta received her bachelors from Arizona State University; majoring in Global Health and minoring in Public Service and Public Policy. Julieta is passionate about addressing overall health needs and disparities within low resource communities in the United States and abroad. She has helped coordinate medical campaigns with the ministry of health in Peru through Vive Peru and has also interned with Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Public Health to create pilot studies for Chronic Pain management within low-income communities. She now enjoys serving the Phoenix community through preventative education!
